JohnS Posted February 17, 2020 Report Share Posted February 17, 2020 (edited) I purchased carport basic odb2, i have an airbag warning light on my Audi A4 2003, I'm using an ELM327 usb interface but the software does not recognize the airbag fault. any advice. update on this query, i got the car tested in the garage and no fault showed up on the diagnostics as current fault, however it seems the ECU can hold on to the warning light message even after the temporary fault was cleared. The fault seems to have occurred when cleaning under the passenger seat, the passenger airbag connector got temporarly disconnected but returned to connected again, however the ecu still registers the error until it is cleared by a VAG diagnostics tool. My question is slightly different now. Can Carport recognize old errors and or clear all old errors?
