alexander
Please manually delete the folder, where CarPort.exe is installed. Then reinstall the latest version of CarPort, which is currently 1.4.2.

alexander
The problem arises, when faulty bluetooth drivers are installed. The drivers from the company IVT (also known as BlueSoleil drivers) and from Toshiba have known issues. To solve the problem, you can open the windows device manager and disable the unused bluetooth-related COM-ports (except for the comport of the ELM327 of course). You can find the COM-ports under "Ports (COM & LPT)". Another solution is - if possible - to switch to the original Microsoft-Bluetooth-Stack. alexander
What kind of bluetooth hardware is installed in the computer (chipset, drivers) ? Did you try to manually select the COM-Port of the ELM327 ? You can also try to remove the ELM327 bluetooth device and reinstall it.
