Carport for use with VW

I have a VW touran, and I want to reset the blocket auxilary heater. I've tested with a ELM327 bluetooth and also with a USB cable that says it's connected with k-line, but none of them can contact the Aux heater... Both interfaces can see different things, but no fault codes etc. The USB cable looks like a DIAMEX DX35, but I don't know what it really is. The only text on it is ODB2...

 

I've read about connecting some pins together, but I'm not sure...

 

Anyone know what interface I should use or what to do? I use the registred version of Carport.

Hi snorhyvel,

 

you will need a CAN-Bus compatible interface for your VW Touran (e.g. K+CAN Commander 1.4, AGV4000 expert). The ELM327 is for OBD2-diagnostics only and not suited for manufacturer specific diagnostics.
